It contains twenty tracks of his greatest hits spanning a decade from '81-'91 and there are no disappointments. If you are an avid fan or a casual listener of ETC you should have this disc in your collection. This is by far the best "best of" CD I have ever bought.
I really love this CD My son bought this for me. Earl was one of my favorites from the 80's country scene and this great CD brought back many good memories for me.
I have so many favorites on this CD. I know - a lot of them start out like that.These songs are superb, Earl's voice is high-quality. "Chance of Lovin' You" and "Nobody Falls Like A Fool" and "Holding Her and Loving You" are some of my favorites. This CD is full (20, to be exact) of high-quality, top-of-the-line country songs. There are so many superb songs on this CD.Of all the country singers, Earl Thomas Conley is one that I admire the most, because of how poor he started out and what he went through to get to where he finally got.
( CONCERT WAS JUNE 13TH 2008 ) AT THE CONCERT HE WAS AMAZING AND THE VOICE WAS SUPERB, HE SHOULD KNOW FANS WILL WELCOME HIM BACK ANY TIME. I JUST HAD THE PLEASURE OF SEEING ETC IN CONCERT AND ACTUALLY GOT TO GET ON THE BUS AND SIT DOWN AND TALK WITH HIM . THIS IS THE NICEST PERSON YOU WOULD EVER WANT TO MEET AND I AM SO PROUD THAT I WAS ABLE TO MEET HIM AS IT WAS A LONG TIME DREAM.
If you are a fan of ETC you wont be disappointed at all. This album brings back lots of memories. Its great. I grew up listening to ETC so when I came across this album I was very happy. I love his voice and his music.
